Rufus was a 31 years old, living in Elgin Illinois with his wife and two daughters. He was a teacher at a small community college west of the city and held a master of music degree in composition. Rufus had composed and performed in many different styles: from classical to rock, jazz to blues, etc. While Rufus the person is gone, his music and art still live on.
